RATIO ALERTS

Thank you for checking our blog and following the ratio.

Why the ratio is important? To ensure our program meets safety protocols and can offer an enriching environment for participants to receive the most from the program and for volunteers to be able to provide this, we must follow a ratio that is designed by the GO FAR program and after school care guidelines.

The ratio is 15 participants per every lead, trained volunteer. The volunteer must be experienced with GO FAR to qualify as this; beginner volunteers are partnered with experienced volunteers.

If your school is in the red, please be sure to email me before registering to ensure that registration is still available.

Once registration is near full or is in urgent need of volunteers, the info will turn red.

The # of volunteers needed in the chart are what we need to ensure the program at this time. If we receive more than the given #s, then we can increase the # of participants accepting. If we are unable to obtain the # of volunteers needed, we will have to consider closing registration for that particular school or post-pone practices. If you are in the red or know of any helping hands for any location, please help us keep GO FAR, going FAR. (email obxgofar@gmail.com)
